David Arky
David is best known for his still life, conceptual and x-ray photography. He loves to create clean, crisp photographs with an eye to simplifying objects to their elemental qualities, depicting their form and texture. His advertising clients have included AT&T, IBM, HP, Johnson & Johnson, and Verizon.
He also has shot editorial assignments for AARP, Fitness, Ladies Home Journal, Men's Health, Oprah, Outside Magazine, Newsweek, and The New York Times Magazine, as well as cover stories for US News, Fortune, Business 2.0, and Technology Review. David has taught at the International Center of Photography since 2001, where he shares his passion for photography with his students.

All lots are sold “AS IS” and without recourse and neither PROOF nor its consignor(s) make any warranties or representations, express or implied with respect to such lots. All items are available for examination at PROOF prior to bidding. 

When placing a bid, a bidder is accepting personal liability to pay the purchase price, including the buyer’s premium, all applicable taxes and all other applicable charges. If you are the winning bidder, you will be contacted within 48 hours of the close of the auction.

In addition to the hammer price, the buyer agrees to pay PROOF a buyer’s premium added to the final total. The buyer’s premium for all purchases made on Bidsquare is 5%.

Payment is required within five business days of the auction. Payment in U.S. dollars may be made with cash; bank check or cashier’s check drawn on a U.S. bank; money order; or wire transfer. PROOF reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by personal check until the check has cleared the bank. 

Once PROOF has received payment in full, the buyer shall contact PROOF to arrange shipping or pick-up. Shipping, handling and insurance charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
